I was blessed with the most incredible miracle, yet also really struggled through some challenging work circumstances and my confidence and sanity really suffered as a result. Making Food Fun – Baby Led Weaning

Returning to part time work within weeks, I am reminded of what I did every day prior to going on maternity leave – teaching kids and their parents about good nutrition… well a little more complicated than that as I was caring for babies and children with rather interesting and cumbersome dietary requirements! Minitalia – The Creative Way to Learn Italian!

One of the things I love about my husband (amongst many others) is his Italian heritage; the culture, the food, the music and of course Italy itself! Our holiday to Italy in 2012 was my first overseas trip and perhaps the most memorable holiday I have had thus far so I am very fond of all things Italian. My husband grew up speaking Italian at an early age, but his parents were advised to start speaking only English in the home once he reached kindergarten and over time he just started to communicate in English only. How things have changed since then, with many bilingual parents communicating to their children in their native language with the child learning English outside of the home.
